Version #1 of Runmaka VR

Eazi Business

Runmaka Version #1 offers the batter a net style session in a sports centre, where twelve deliveries will be faced. It is set up in such a way that both right hand and left hand batters can practice without making any alterations or requiring any specific setting adjustments.

The twelve deliveries will rotate in order as follows:
- four full length balls to drive
- four length balls to defend / drive
- four short pitched balls to defend / back foot punch / pull
nb. It goes without saying, ramps and other strokes are all possible!

There will be four lines. For the left hander:

delivery one - three to four inches outside leg stump (hard to play)
delivery two - on leg stump
delivery three - one off stump
delivery four - three to four inches outside off stump

Obviously, the above means the right hander has an identical set of deliveries starting outside off stump and moving to leg stump.

All deliveries will be from a right arm bowler using a sidearm. This offers the batters queues for readiness / movement purposes and falls in line with the sidearms status in training with batters today.

Version #1 will cost £12.99 to buy, which will need to be downloaded onto a meta quest 2 headset (£199) or a meta quest 3, of which there are two options (£289 or £450). Handles to attach to the controllers enhance the experience and are available from many outlets ranging from £15-£30. We intend to develop these attachments further to replicate a more accurate bat weight feeling.

Our long term aim is to offer a membership scheme where we add content regularly to enhance the training experience further - delivery specific training / pace adjustments / a training room for planning and reviewing / gap finding etc... The options really are endless...

Please feel free to make contact with me via the website either for more information.
